EUBIA, the European Biomass Industry Association, is an international non profit association based in Brussels, Belgium, established in 1996. It groups together market forces, technology providers, and knowledge centres, all of them active in the field of biomass. Our main objectives are to promote the use of biomass, develop innovative bio-energy concepts and increase the competitiveness of the European biomass industry.
Therefore EUBIA:
- promotes bioenergy activities at small, medium and large scale
- promotes modern, efficient, environmentally sound and commercial bio-energy schemes, technologies, products and markets;
- influences key European policies affecting the biomass industry through direct contacts with the European Institutions, media and other key stakeholders.
